I love this dress, as
worn by Marcia Cross who plays my favourite tv character
ever, from Elie Saab's Fall 2008 Couture collection. If I was picking a wedding dress today it would be tea length with lots of tulle.
Today I love tulle.

Whew. Thanks for making me feel a little bit more *right* with my pending wedding dress decision.
ReplyDeletei just love wedding dresses. that top one is a stunner. i really wanted something with a little color but even though it's in all the magazines i never saw them in the dress stores! oh well. still love what i'm getting. ... i think. ;)
ReplyDeleteMeg, oh my! Are you going for tea length tulle?! I can't wait to see what you choose!
ReplyDeleteEngaged & Enraged, I am very curious about what you're going to wear! I think it tales about 2 years from trends to go from magazines to the average dress shop. Tea length was everywhere online and in magazines when I was shopping but I didn't see a singe one in the shops.
ReplyDeletethat was my favorite dress worn at the emmy's! love it!
ReplyDeleteP and P, I think this is sufficiently far away from sites where Mr F looks online, so I will tell you! My dress is a mermaid style dress with a sweetheart neckline and ruching through the top. It's very simple but ultimately seemed the most "me." :) Granted, I liked almost every dress I tried on, so I ultimately just had to close my eyes and point. ps - I LOVE tea length also but I'm getting married at night.
ReplyDeleteThe top dress is so incredible. I want to hang it up on my wall and look at it all the time.
ReplyDeleteme too, me too!
ReplyDeletethat first dress is just STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteI love that "if I was picking a wedding dress today..." that little bit of fantasy if you just picked it, wore it, then tomorrow started over again. Not having to think about it too much...
ReplyDeleteP.S. Meg! You're going to order/buy your dress? More more more!
ReplyDeleteplease dont post anymore frothy frilly tully must-have dresses!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know why. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOne Silent Winter, it was the best by far!
ReplyDeleteEngaged & Enraged, oooh! Sounds pretty! I can't wait to hear about your dress shopping experience! And tea length definitely doesn't work for every wedding.
One Love Photo, me too!
Miss Shortcake, I thought you might like it!
Kat @ Rock 'n Roll Bride, isn't it fab!
Guilty Secret, it's a nice thought isn't it! My ideas have changed so much since dress shopping that I'm sure if I was doing it now I would have picked something totally different. No regrets, but I like the thought that it could have been many dresses and I would have loved it.
Amanda, short dresses are heavenly aren't they?
redframe, I'm afraid I just can't help myself!
I love that first dress...gorgeous!
