I want to decorate our bathroom with these
tiny summer bug tiles from Fired Earth. In the depths of the winter (when the dank, dark bugs are out) they would cheer me up so and remind me that one day the bumble bees will be back.
They're 6.5 x 6.5 cm and hand made in the UK. They cost £20 each. I don't think I can have even one. But never mind, we're renovating our flat to sell it one day in the not too distant future, it's not a forever home. One day, when we have a forever home, I might just buy myself a bumble bee and a butterfly and a lady bug and we just won't eat for a week.

Oh I love them!! Bees and ladybirds are among my favourite things too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your forever home will be a beautiful place and is there waiting for you.
Singy singy singy bugs. Singy bugs bugs bugs.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! They're an investment, definately :D Love fired earth paints too. If you use those though, no food for a month! Or you'll have to live on Lidl noodles and it's just not worth it...
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I never thought about it this way. Summer bugs are lovely. Here in the US we also have fireflies in the summer, on the east coast, most wonderful of all. And I always make a wish on ladybugs when they land on my clothes.
ReplyDeleteOh I love bumblebees. They just make me smile with their bumbling ways!
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh! I think bumble bees are my favourite bug/insect, maybe even animal. I love.
