So this is an entirely not carefully chosen moment to pop my comment cherry and delurk myself - but I've been kind of reading your blog, and APW, and eastsidebride, and all these wonderful wonderful words of wisdom from the alternative wedding blogosphere (not the "alternative wedding" one, the "alternative" wedding one...you know what I mean). Kind of obsessively. Like, really. And in the course of the last few weeks, you have all done more to transform my notion of marriage, love, partnership, happiness - STUFF! - than my 26 years of life on this planet had achieved. Which is a bit whack, really, if not totally fucked, and suggests I've been doing something wrong thus far.

The impetus to delurkify struck today, not on any of your collective posts (yes, I am lumping you "all" together, deal with it) from the realisation (yes, I am a slow learner) that you (non-collective, Peonies-specific singular) are a real, live wedding photographer! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Etc.
So now - I'm going to defo try to be a little more *ahem* vocal in my appreciation for your respective gems (collective use again) - but in the short term - do you think you could maybe, like, I don't know, come to Australia for some wedding photography action? Like, for a holiday, where you also shot an awesome awesome mountain creek-side wedding? At a pub? With a junkyard folk band? And heaps of awesome dancing? Because I don't know if you know, but Australia is pretty damn fabulous, and you should totes come here soon. And if it JUST HAPPENED to be when my wedding was....just saying.

ReplyDeleteOh man, that is a fine, fine outfit. Love every bit. The only thing is that every time I have gotten a pair of 9 west shoes they have lasted about 5 minutes - so stylish but so crappy underneath.
