I'm such a pissed off chicken today. There's no reason, I'm just grumpy. And I'm trying to hide it from people who phone about fixing our ceilings or planning their weddings because it's not their fault and I simply must be polite. But all I really want to do is flap my wings all up in their faces until they just GO AWAY.*pissed off chicken, who camped outside our tent last summer and woke us at 6am every day and made me laugh.

*hug* It's ok. We all deserve days when we can be pissed off chickens for no reason.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to be an angry chicken every once in a while. I'd worry about someone who wasn't. (And that's quite a nice-looking angry chicken, there.)
ReplyDeleteI hope you find something soft and vulnerable at which to flap and peck.
ReplyDeletetake a day off. get some rest, eat some waffles, and take lots of naps. ceilings and weddings can wait til tomorrow.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm right there with you. Even a quick jaunt to the coffee shop for a piece of cinnimon coffee cake didn't get me out of this funk...
ReplyDeletewe're all entitled to those chicken days.
ReplyDeletePardon the insight.....but don't you mean "angry chick"?
ReplyDeleteI tend to resemble that......often.....smiles.
I just found your blog through Mrs. Smith! I love it and am excited to be a new follower :) I LOVE that origami dress below (which surprised me)...and I hope your day gets better! xo
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's ok to take a break from the world for a day or two. Deal with the ceiling folks and those getting married tomorrow or the day after.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is AMAZING. Love it.
ReplyDelete(Let it out.)
yep...those are the days I hide away until i can be civil. hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI woke up in a funk too. Must be something in the air :/
ReplyDeleteOh bless you! Sounds like a right pain in the arse, but I can't help but laugh. Kind of like you guys at that very awesome chicken. <3
ReplyDeletedefinitely something in the air. I want to flap like that at my colleagues and life in general this week. :)
ReplyDeletewe all feel that way from time to time... I think it's healthy!
ReplyDeleteMy god, that picture illustrates grumpiness so well I can't stop laughing! I hope today was a better day.
