"crying is the perfect evolutionary tool for your baby to communicate her needs"

Uh no. I'm pretty sure that if we're asking for perfection talking would be the way to go. As a communication tool crying stinks.

  1. Yup and while we're at it can they be born both talking and with a full set of teeth. Teething is the pits.

  3. That photo is amazing. And yes talking babies would be far easier. Not that I have any but it would be nice if they could work out how to do it by the time I get round to it...

  4. She's only trying to communicate that she prefers ocelot to giraffe, in her mammal prints, thank you very much mum and dad. I remember, around when my second child turned 3, I looked around one night and said, wait, wait, did we just have an entire day in which NOBODY cried?

  9. Hahaha that post made me laugh -what an antidote to all the 'wholesome' parenthood schmuuush that's being blogged every day.

I absolutely love your blog it's inspirational and down to earth with the odd karate chop of cynicism thrown in for good measure - brilliant.

PS Is it wrong to have twin envy - we've left it a bit late so a double whammy sounds like a jolly good plan -enjoy...
