We don't really do New Year's Eve, and Christmas was a little... hectic. But on January 1st we made a concerted effort to have a lovely, memorable first meal of the year. There was candlelight and conversation and lasagne in a heart shaped dish. There were babes in arms and mince pies made to a family recipes and wine brought from France wrapped in my father in law's socks.
Happy 2011 Chickpeas. I hope that it's a beautiful year for you. I predict that ours will be... hectic.

Ah your babies are just gorgeous. My own twin girls will be 30 this year and I know how hectic it is when they're babies (we also had a two year old), but it goes so fast. People used to say 'make the most of it as they're not bairns five minutes' and it's true. I wish I could go back - just for a day mind you:-).
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is too sweet for words. Your twins are beautfiul! I just discovered your blog and have found it quite refreshing. Thank you for your honesty!!!
