If and when you do go back to drinking coffee, i say "do it". You will not regret it. We've had a la Scala Butterfly for about 4 years now and I love it more and more each day. Plus, hot chocolate from the espresso machine tastes soooo much better :-)
oh my...my oh my, how could I possibly fit this in my kitchen? maybe nestled snugly between my french press and chemex? so gorgeous, but how's the brew?
oooh, i've been trying to cut back... it's so difficult!!
ReplyDeleteone word - DECAF
ReplyDeletedon't knock it til you've tried it...
I've tried it. That shit makes me really ill.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is gorgeous. I'll have to lust after it with you because wow, it's not cheap.
ReplyDelete(What's the difference between the Euro model & the US model?)
Oh! Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI have no further clever suggestions, only herbal tea and sympathy.
You're off coffee again? That sucks.

ReplyDeleteohhh lala! *s*
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful machine, though I must say that my body seems to be happiest when I don't drink coffee. It's a shame.

ReplyDeleteKristy - It's probably the wiring, since it's different between N. America and Europe.
I want to hide most coffee dispensing machines, but this one I'd put it the most conspicuous place in the kitchen and shine a spotlight on it!
ReplyDeleteWOW that looks incredible.
ReplyDelete(and also: death before decaf!)
the only time our espresso machine gets used is when my mom comes to visit... but that doesn't mean i don't feel like i NEED that beauty.
ReplyDeleteHave been looking through your blog and totally admire you photography - absolutely beautiful.

I love coffee too much to give it up! Maybe someday. But I don't drink soda, so I don't think coffee is going to do me much harm.

ReplyDeleteI actually spotted a similar espresso machine in an old James Bond movie. If it's good enough for James Bond it's good enough for you.
