(UPDATED: I've turned on anonymous comments to make it easier for those without a blogger profile to enter, but I've also had to turn on word verification temporarily as the spam situation is ridiculous. I'll turn it off again as soon as the give away is over!)
As a thank you for a wonderful summer of getting Bird and Bear {London Family Photography} off the ground and as a thank you for your help doing it, I'm offering a family photo session completely free!
Read to the bottom of the post to find out more and please feel free to enter either for yourself or to win the session as a gift for a friend.

I have, as I said I would do when it got to August, put my prices up slightly and started offering a range of albums, prints and photography bundles. I'm a little anxious, as I think all creative types are when they increase their pricing, but I'm really hoping that over the next couple of years I can start to do this almost full-time and so I think it's time to start treating it as a real business. Wish me luck!
In celebration of the start (officially) of a new venture and as a thank you for your support as I've been figuring it out, I've decided to do a giveaway!
I'm offering one family a free photo session in London. It can be in your home or we can arrange to meet in a park somewhere and we will do a two hour shoot. Afterwards you will get between 50 and 100 images as high resolution files.
To enter please leave a comment here or 'like' the Bird and Bear facebook page. The giveaway will be open for the next two weeks and I will draw a winner at random when I get back from holiday on September 5th.
How exciting. Pick me, pick me!

ReplyDeleteEntering on behalf of my lovely friend and her little Henry - a week and two days old! I'm so absurdly overexcited for her and wish I could buy him ALL THE THINGS but this would be a hundred times more meaningful (and go some way towards making up for the fact that I tragically only discovered your work about 10 days after my wedding a few years ago so couldn't have you for myself...d'oh)

ReplyDeleteLove your work and your words, please add my name to the hat. Happy holiday, Sara x
ReplyDeleteSo, here's the thing. I really wanted to have you guys as our wedding photographers when we got married two years ago (in new york, and we couldn't justify flying a photographer in). And now that we've lived in London for a year and a half, I was really looking forward to getting to have you photograph our littles. But we don't have any littles yet. And we're moving back to the US. Do you think you'd photograph our little family that's just the two of us? if we won? or even if we didn't, and we'd pay you?
ReplyDeletewhat do you think? ~Liz
I'm not sure why this didn't use my actual google ID. anyway, hopefully this works too?
DeleteWe're in Aus with no babies, but I'd love to win this for dear friends and their two year-old in London!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me into the mix to win. We're about to move to Bristol but could definitely make a day trip to a London park. Thanks and congratulations on the continuing success of Bird and Bear xx
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful offer and I'm so pleased that you have had such a great start to your new venture- you deserve it! It would make my day to have you photograph my little family on a grand day out in London. With thanks and crossed fingers x
ReplyDeleteGoodness me, what I would give to live in London and have a little family photo session with you. Luckily I have some friends still there who would love it!
ReplyDeleteWell hey, I'm turning on my roaming mobile Internet on our own holiday to enter because I would love to have some photos of we and G taken by you. Honestly, I want to pay you full prices because I strongly believe that creatives deserve that, but my current employment situation means a moratorium on discretionary expenditures for now. But not forever. Although if G is anything like me his awkward kid days will arrive before I've sorted out what the hell I'm doing. I may as well give him a bowl haircut now.
ReplyDeleteWhich is to say: yay you, and yay Bird & Bear.
this would be so fun! brother, sister in law, niece and me, some pics to send home to our mum in Aust would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure we could get Charlie to not frown, but I'm in.
ReplyDeleteHave been enjoying your blog so much after recommended by a friend. Please add my name to the comp. I have twins too & never seem to get into the photos, I'm always taking them!

ReplyDeleteCara, So much has changed since that day we met in Edinburgh four years ago! Andrew and I recently had a little baby boy! And, seeing your images now that I am a mother makes me love them all the more... They are so honest and evocative. We are planning to be in London (early?) next year, so if that's not too late for a session, I'd love to be entered! Xx. Robyn Thompson
