France, things they have in*...

Motorbicycles, very old.

Bunnies, very young.

Shutters, painted pretty colours.

Fellas, playing the accordion in the streets (yes, really)

Cheeses, big and smelly.

Macarons, almondy. Yuck.

Peaches, local and cheap and delicious.

Husbands, in stripes.

Colours, so pretty.

Piglets, spotty and hungry and adorable.

Headlamps and horns, quite fabulous.

  1. FRENCH PEACHES. Dear lord, heavenly. All peaches in the rest of the world are a disappointment.

  10. Oh, what I would give to be in France! I'd even try the yucky almond macarons (but would rather go for the smelly cheese).

  12. Love these :) And I saw your post on A Cup of Jo this morning -- I have no idea what I truly thought your name was, but I didn't think it was mine :D -- Cara is the bestest name in the world! "Friend" and "dear" and "sweet" and "expensive" :D and, of course, the ever popular "face," but perhaps you don't have a lot of people asking you if you knew that's what your name means? Ahhh, Texas. Sorry for the randomness of this, it was just one of those things that tickled me because our spelling is so rare :D Hee, and clearly I'm a little egocentric :) Delightful post over at Jo's, by the way, too :)

  13. Oh God, the piglets.

France - it's funny. You walk around thinking, "This is so beautiful, it's a cliche. How can it be real?" Paris gives me a headache from sensory overload, but I still love it.

But seriously, these images have put a big smile on my face and made a grey sunday quite a bit brighter. x faye x

  25. Beautiful. But how on earth can you not like macarons ??? Next time, try the "parisians" ones (the ones that are coloured and most pictured like Ladurée's...). They're heaven.
