ReplyDeleteNow this I did not know.
Egads.
Ahhh hormones.
ReplyDeleteLittle fuckers.
I did not know this. Yeah hormones. Blasted things.
ReplyDelete@ agirl, you have no idea how happy it makes me to have out-grossed you.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it, either, but I can't say I'm surprised. Not at all. Because, what Catherine said. Exactly what Catherine said.
ReplyDeleteSo there I was thinking, oh yes how lovely to have a nice shiny HEAD of hair when you go and fox me by announcing it's not just your head! Eeeps, the body is a wierd and wonderful thing is it not.
ReplyDeletePS Does the hair go after the babies are born? Or I guess you don't know right?
I didn't knew that! Wow I hope it will stopped growing after the birth!
ReplyDeleteeeeeeeew.
ReplyDeleteIt's devasting, isn't it, particularly when you want to flaunt those hormonally inflated rappers delights to anyone who will look!!
ReplyDeleteMy stomach hair is still here 6 months on sorry to be the bearer of more rubbish news. Not sure why that doesn't fall out but the hair on my head comes out in clumps.
ReplyDeleteHormones are a killer . . . man. I think you forget all the crazy stuff like that after the little baby is born. Or let's hope so!!
ReplyDelete@marie and rosalie- all the stuff i read said it takes at LEAST 6 months- a year for it to go away.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah. i looked it up after the FIRST sign of a happy trail.
What the eff? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteHorrifying. Yet, I am so glad you are spilling the secrets.
oh dear. i remember. it's kind of unfathomable and unfair.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry much about it falling out eventually. Of course, at the time you'll be too obsessed with the 1-inch-wide part in your increasingly thin hair to notice.... (It's finally filling back in! I thought it never would!)
ReplyDeleteSome of us have that without being pregnant.
ReplyDeletewhere were these girls mothers? if it wasn't for your forewarning they'd be very frightened by their hairiness.
ReplyDeleteand that anon comment kills me hahahaha
I've been trying to comment on this for two days now... and all I can think to say is that I adore your honesty! (And you're right, no one's told me that... I am forewarned!)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I am so, so, SO sorry.
ReplyDeletePrac Schmac, I'd never have thought to ask my mother the question. Crazy, huh?
And you're welcome, my dear. I'd rather be informed and squeamish than ignorant and perplexedly hairy, any time.
In my experience, thus far, it doesn't go away as long as you're breastfeeding. (I am really hoping it does once we wean!)
ReplyDeleteBWHAHAH!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness are you kidding me?!?
ReplyDeletewow!!!
