flutter byes

This mobile is giving me all sorts of weird, crafty urges.

Must find fluff and butterflies and bugs and birds and glue and string and colour.

Must. Have. Colour. Now.

and not that wishy washy, faded, bleached colour I so love (hello blog). REAL colour. Real 'make your eyes tingle and your heart race' colour.

(wherever can I find me a giganterous big bag of colourful bugs and birds?)

  6. I'm not sure where you're from, (I'm a new follower) but they have a lot of colorful butterflies and bugs at my local Hobby Lobby. Just a thought, if you've got one nearby. Good luck, looking forward to seeing what you come up with!!

  7. Long considered this idea, but never actually seen one -- what a beautiful example! Here's the Etsy store I bookmarked just in case:

  8. it must be the babies. as i was once told on my blog, while making a mobile for a baby, those babies LIKE bright colors.

you know what I like? how even though you pretend to be all boo-crafts you are AMAZING at making.

  9. It's because babies can only see bright colors for awhile, till their eyes develop.* So they are gonna LOVE those :)

*When I was little I thought babies eyes didn't open for a week, like kittens.

  16. Those butterflies are so pretty!
I still like bleachy, faded colors. Right now, grayish-lavender, slate blue, that sort of saddened Victorian coloring.

  17. Hi, where are you from? I'm imagining England but I can't seem to find where you say directly. I'm glad you went to New York and enjoyed it. I live in Atlanta Georiga and I enjoy going to big cities as well as living in one. I found your blog randomly but you're quirky and fun and I like you. I will keep tabs! :)
