Sorry.

Did I imply that I have stopped wondering what babies are for because I now know? Uh, no.

I just added them to that list of things that are beyond me. Alongside gravity, inflation and why Nye puts his dirty socks down the side of the sofa.

Sorry.

*N's dad isn't sure what babies are for either.

  4. I'm pretty sure they're for eating. I would start with those little FEET.

  5. WHYYYYY do boys do that with socks?! Mine does that *in addition to* leaving them in tidy piles all over the house. It's as if he's saving them for later or something! When I go to do laundry, it's a sort of treasure hunt for dirty socks... which is kind of disgusting, now that I think about it...

...and my god, woman - your babies get more adorable with each post :-)

  11. Your honesty cracks me up and delights me all in one go. For these are the thoughts I have been having of late myself. Although having them does make me feel a tad bit ashamed of myself in one breath and damn well justified in another. Shouldn't my biological clock be ticking overtime at the ripe ol' age of 34?? Who knows.

Love your blog. Love your babies. Even if they are a bit of work. :P

  13. That photo is so freakin' cool.

I think they are for... just how much you wanted them before they came along. Even though you'll never quite feel that urge again, you remember it.

That's how I feel, anyway. She's for the old me. The old me is satisfied now, though. She's the new me.
