La Pavoni

I've given up coffee almost every day this week.

The dreams I have about this espresso machine are frankly indecent.

I'm fooling no one.

  4. Oh, that is gorgeous. I'll have to lust after it with you because wow, it's not cheap.

(What's the difference between the Euro model & the US model?)

  5. Oh! Sorry.

I have no further clever suggestions, only herbal tea and sympathy.

  7. If and when you do go back to drinking coffee, i say "do it". You will not regret it. We've had a la Scala Butterfly for about 4 years now and I love it more and more each day. Plus, hot chocolate from the espresso machine tastes soooo much better :-)

  9. That is a beautiful machine, though I must say that my body seems to be happiest when I don't drink coffee. It's a shame.

Kristy - It's probably the wiring, since it's different between N. America and Europe.

  11. I want to hide most coffee dispensing machines, but this one I'd put it the most conspicuous place in the kitchen and shine a spotlight on it!

  15. I love coffee too much to give it up! Maybe someday. But I don't drink soda, so I don't think coffee is going to do me much harm.

  17. I actually spotted a similar espresso machine in an old James Bond movie. If it's good enough for James Bond it's good enough for you.
