cables, ties.

Rings by Ambre France

Did I ever tell you that my first engagement ring was a cable tie? It was.

Black, plastic, B&Q.

These rings by Ambre France are stirring up all sorts of nostalgia.

*'first' as in 'the first ring that cemented my engagement to The Boy'. Not 'first' as in 'the first of my many, many engagements.'

  2. These are great! My first engagement ring was a twisty tie from a bag in the kitchen.

  7. Aaaahhhh.... My big brother got married this last weekend, and his (now) wife showed us the cable tie he proposed with! It was always a joke between them, and when he popped the question on top of the Eiffel Tower and opened the ring box, it was a white cable tie! (he had the real ring on his pinky)

And thank you so much for your comment to my post on APW. I have been following you here for awhile and am a bad commenter, but I wanted to say how much I am enjoying the tales of your two beauties.
