It's what we do.

  1. Lovely. I wish every child in the world could catch a frog gently at least once. I am so happy to see your kids in nature.

  3. What lovely photographs! Do they have fireflies in southern France? I used to catch fireflies in the summer twilights, and they are some of my favorite memories. I live in a city now, but last night I caught sight of a single firefly-- so dim compared to the lights of the tall buildings around it-- and it made me long for summer nights when the world was lit up with fireflies.

    1. I haven't seen any. In fact the Caribbean is the only place I've ever seen them.

  5. Such beautiful pictures. We have two ponds so catching frogs is almost a daily occurrence in these summer months. Yesterday our cat caught one!

    1. EEK. Thankfully the local cats don't seem that interested in our pond life, probably because there's a woman who tours the village daily feeding them all!
